I have lived in Oregon since I was a small child. Looking back I see that art was my strong point even in grade school. It was my passion to display my art even then. Oregon is a beautiful place to find inspiration. I'm versatile in that, I find that inspiration everywhere I go. My subject matter changes as I'm in awe of a flower,an animal,a person or a scenic view. I've been doing art full time since the early 90's. My work has been in National Art shows while I was in the Pastel Society of Oregon. These days I'm strickly sticking to acrylic paintings. I've shown at Umpqua Valley Art Gallery in Roseburg, Oregon. Talleys Gallery in Oakland Oregon, and many business throughout my local community. In 2007 I had a one person show at Ye Old Art Shoppe gallery in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. Basically I am self taught, but have taken instruction from local instructors.
My work may be found in privated collections in Oregon, Alaska and Montana. One of my lastest projects was writing a novel. A story of an american soldier and a vietnamese woman. It's title is "The Gifts of So Lan Chu" found at amazon.com and authorhouse.com. Happily, I recently had a book signing and an art show at the Umpqua Valley Art Center. Thank you for your interest in viewing what I enjoy doing.
